Coming across this news story the other day reinforced to me that identity fraud can happen to absolutely anyone, no matter how famous or rich! That’s why it’s more important than ever to protect your personal information so that you don’t too become a victim of identity fraud. Some people destroy documents by ripping them up with their hands, but I know someone who even soaks their documents in the sink to make the ink run!  I won’t be taking such drastic measures, but for greater ease of mind and convenience, I’m going to buy a shredder.
