My car insurance is due this month so I logged onto a well advertised web site last night to get some quotes.
What I wanted was a simple list of policies, a digestible summary of the cover available and the going rate for the options so I could buy a policy and go do something more interesting.
What I got was nothing less than a bombardment of phone calls from lots of different companies chasing me to buy a policy from them - not what I wanted at all!
